Biografía:

Compositor neozelandés nacido en Auckland. Se graduó en la Universidad de esta ciudad con un título en economía y política. Pianista de formación clásica e intérprete de trompa, trabajó como planificador regional en Australia e Indonesia y como camillero en un hospital psiquiátrico australiano. Fue miembro del grupo de música, SPK, en los 70, tocando los teclados y la percusión. Su single, "In fraganti" fue la base para su composición de la película Calma total (Dead Calm, 1988), adaptación de Phillip Noyce de la novela de Charles Williams protagonizada por Nicole Kidman, Sam Neill y Billy Zane. Esta fue su primera composición, siendo merecedor de un premio de la industria cinematográfica australiana. Desde entonces, Revell ha escrito la música de infinidad de películas, incluyendo El cuervo (The Crow, 1994), Jóvenes y brujas (The Craft, 1996), El santo (The Saint, 1997) y La caja china (Chinese Box, 1997). © IMDB
