Otros Films: Biografía: Director de cine, productor y guionista estadounidense nacido en Los Ángeles. Cursó estudios en el Programa de Escritura Cinematográfica de la Universidad de California del Sur, ganando tres premios universitarios, entre los que destacan el Jack Nicholson (1989) y el Robert Riskin (1990). Poco después fue contratado por Columbia Pictures para llevar al cine Los chicos del barrio (1991), su debut en el cine, con el que fue nominado a los Premios Oscars en las categorías de mejor director y mejor guion original.
